Chamomile flowers

Chamomile is well known for having calming properties which may aid anxious or nervous animals. It helps support normal digestive function in both rabbits and guinea pigs, it also works as a natural appetite stimulant.

Chamomile is classed as a herb.  The flowers are most commonly used to make a tea but was used historically to make beer and ale.  The crushed leaves of the fresh plant have a wonderful smell, whereas the dried flowers do not!
